Training Philosophy

At Pawsitive Impact K9 Training (PIK9), we believe effective training should be clear, practical and fun — not overwhelming or trend-driven.

Led by owner Rebecca, alongside experienced trainers Levon and Liza, our team is dedicated to helping dogs and their owners build strong, respectful, and lasting relationships. We use balanced training methods that work in real life — straightforward, fair, and easy for owners to understand and apply confidently at home and beyond.

Because no two dogs or households are the same, we meet you where you are. We take the time to understand your dog’s behavior, identify what’s truly needed, and explain not just what to do, but why it works. Our focus isn’t quick fixes — it’s giving you the tools to maintain results long after training ends.

Day Training

Day Training gives your dog structured, 1:1 training throughout the day while staying with one of our trainers. We focus on obedience, leash manners, and behavior goals tailored to your dog, with appropriate social exposure in a controlled environment.

At pickup, we review your dog’s progress, training wins, and homework so you can confidently continue the work at home. This program is ideal for owners who want professional results without needing to train all day themselves.

1:1 In Home Sessions

This is our favorite option for for owners that want to be fully involved. We meet you where you are- teaching YOU how to train your pup, working in your home or real-world environments to build practical skills, strengthen your bond, and create long-term results you can maintain independently.

Board and Training

Your dog lives and trains with a professional PiK9 trainer, receiving daily, structured training tailored to their specific needs. This program is ideal for dogs who need consistency, accountability, and focused work to make meaningful behavior changes—while setting you up for long-term success at home.

Group Sessions & Off Leash Pack Walks & MOVE

Our group classes are designed for dogs who already have foundational training and are ready to advance. These sessions focus on proofing obedience, improving reliability around distractions, and building appropriate social skills — all while reinforcing calm, controlled behavior in a structured group setting.
